This is kind of getting tiresome around here…
Xion psu
I’m assuming This is an upgraded pre-built
But yet again I don’t mess with things when it comes to power my computer if it’s giving me problems or I feel like as a potential bomb it goes out And gets replaced by a better quality one
I recently purchased this 1000w PSU to power my 7950, hopefully a second one later on. I haven't heard much from this brand, is it trustworthy or should I look into getting a new one? I haven't had any problems whatsoever and it runs very well (from what i can tell.)
also, could this PSU...
This reviews from 2013 but opinion still stands
I don’t know man potentially throwing away $1200 worth of investments down the drain over $100 fix
Understandable yes, build quality should match between parts. All parts can fail, even fancy psu's, that's why companies offer warranties.
A lot of companies wouldn’t replace your components if the power supply fucked them
A power supply with good build quality and design is also much less likely to fail than a cheapo one
Uhhh
?
My guy, you can't just link a 24 page long article without context
Or even an explanation
Those protections prove my point even more?
Cheapo units might not even have some of the basic protections such as OPP
Context protections, p21. To assume fail = parts damage is a bit dramatic.
Protections being triggered isn’t a failure
It’s intended design
