# paper yew damn, thats 1 very small case ngl. How does it perform I am curious

Well because my monitor is a 1600x900 native display (but with 75hz and freesync) it doesnt take much to push the pixels. So the 12100F and RX 6400 are just perfect. I set a driver imposed frame cap of 74fps to keep everything within the freesync range... and I am easily able to keep it pegged at 74fps in most games (except for a couple like Cyberpunk which is more like 60fps)

#

I am very happy with it 🙂

have fun with your build

thanks dude!

I wonder if someone made a laptop with desktop components

#

seeing as how compact you were able to make your build

brittle inlet
#

totally doable with the right design... this system, the GPU only pulls 45w and with my CPU undervolted (which increased performance) it only pulls 43w... total system draw is like ~100w

at max load

that not a lot at all

#

some cpu's pull that much on their own

#

with some dedication it definitly possible to make a desktop a "Laptop" just needs a lot of planning

#

I will shut up now and let you enjoy your build :D

3D printed case

#

Shouldnt be that much bigger then a Pie

Oh you you could totally make that work, cool project @brittle inlet

#

You dont have to worry about warping etc, and if worse comes to worse just 3d print it again

#

You save some bucks by not buying a SFF case, and can make it however you want
