Its huge.. what's that capable of?
B A S S
around 4kw, its build for 20Hz and below. For the moment I have to do with a small one. Soon to start building
Jesus it does infrasound?
Yes, aimed at movies and such.
Wow, I'm sure itll sound good. Just dont get sick lol
Even this small one gets to 118dB @ 25Hz.
you can't even hear below 20hz...
holy crap.
even just above it, it's less of a sound and more of a feel.
exactly, if its loud enough itll make you sick
Olson, Harry F. (1967). Music, Physics and Engineering. Dover Publications. p. 249. ISBN 0-486-21769-8. Under very favourable conditions most individuals can obtain tonal characteristics as low as 12 cycles.
Well most speakers can't even properly play 30Hz and below without Harmonic distortion.
as a headphone I use a Corsair HS Haptic 60 it's does go below 20Hz cause it uses a Haptic Bass as a separate subwoofer.
Hmm, do you run any type of sound bar on your TV? or just separate wall or ceiling mounts, with an amp?
Separates Surround Amplifier + Power Amplifier that drives the subwoofer.
I aim at 105dB for the Satellites 80Hz to 20KHz and the Sub takes over at below 80. Sub needs to be able to atleast get 115dB with minimal distortion, cause DTS has 10dB reserve for Low Freqeuncy.
Very nice setup. I likely wouldn't be able to afford that lol.
Well most is second hand and the Sub I just build myself that makes quite a bit of difference. And I bought the parts in like multiple steps.
Ah I gotcha. Honestly I probably couldnt get into high end audio, I would never be able to listen to anything else again ๐
That is very True.
My dad runs fosgates in his car and my cheap jbls sound like absolute shit compared to those. Before I thought they sounded pretty good lol
I mean you work with what you have. And remember it's much easier to create a desirable sound pressure in a car it's way smaller. But looking around especially second hands can make a world of difference and you don't need to brake the bank.
Very true, I have a old 94 s10 Blazer, basically a rectangle so any sub in that vehicle makes it sound great due to the shape

these arent "builds"
