#Single slot GPU? Now those were the days

Thats dual slot
Im guessing an MSI GTX 960/970
Quite possibly an 980/Ti
Its an older gen MSI card
Ahhh ok I couldn’t quite see the second pcie. But yes he probs does need a gpu upgrade if he can find one
Yeah, though if he has a 970 or 980/Ti, he doesnt need to upgrade ASAP
As those GPUs are still very capable
Yep. Getting a bit old now though
@near mist its an 980Ti
Same performance as a 1070
Driver wise and cooling wise its getting outdated
But performance-well
Not really
If you were to say its performance is old, then you are calling 1070 outdated
and then u are calling 1660 super outdated
Is a 1070
Oh ok then you probs don’t need to update for a bit especially in these times
Right
Its actually an MSI 1070?
Ye
That looks THIN for a 1070
Id rather say its a 980Ti because of the thinner and older design lol
🤷♂️ 100% it’s a 1070
Early 1070 maybe
That makes no sense
Theres no early and late
But nice Aidan, you have a pretty solid GPU right now
I just got a ryzen r9 5900x so it would be nice to have a powerful gpu to go along with it
Hmm idk
No need to jump for a upgrade
Wow
Ty
Why did you jump for that
Tbh a 5800x/12600k would have saved you a lot of money which could have gone to a better gpu
Yw
I have a 1070Ti myself
Actually 2 70Ti's, 1 is broken and other works
Idk I’ve always liked to get the newest stuff and I’ve planned on getting a 3080 to go along with but they are very hard to get right now especially a white one lmfao
I play rust so I’m still only getting 70-80 frames when playing
- I like to record/stream at the same time
Nice
Yeah
Zotac AMP Extreme is the broken one, and Gigabyte G1 Gaming is what I use
Paired with a Xeon X5650
Oooooo a Xeon. Haven’t actually seen someone in the wild using one for some gaming
I’m my other pc I got a gigabyte 2060, solid card and it only costed me like $300
Heard they were good as a budget choice
Very good budget choice
Nice
Though this gpu has terrible cooling
That isn’t good. I unfortunately could only get a duel fan 3070 so my temps aren’t great. Luckily I use an O11D so get pretty good airflow to it
Yeah, when I played Days Gone in full load, temps got to 80c
Ouch
tbh the o11d's airflow isnt the best lol
