x16 and x8 is a minor difference but x4 is too much

id usually use pci x4 or x8 for stuff like capture card, wifi card

I remember something about how most gpu's dont benefit from pcie4 much

But AMD rx 6600/xt's got something happening where they benefit from pcie4
