Is there not enough space between the PCB and heatsink to hide the other 8-pin there?
Like are you referring to cutting it?
Also I don't know that much about the components of the gpu such as the PCB and heatsink.. where are those?

With how stiff the cables are, it'll likely stay in place without anything.
You've got the other 8-pin plugged in right next to it after all.
Also, the RGB is not powered off the actual GPU connectors so you're fine there.
