this case of yours, makes me wanna build an antique windows 95, but, just the pata hdd alone is more expensive than the sata, who knows how much the other parts will cost me xD

bah screw PATA HDD, get a PCI to CompactFlash adapter, run it as an SSD. Cheaper and better performance.
