#another case of Big Case, Tiny Gpu lol

in this case i had no idea what gpu i was gonna get
because i got it 3 months after the rest of the parts
i really need a proper nvme drive for it now because my hard drive sucks
yeah Hard Drives is pretty outdated for gaming now.
for a 7600 and 4060, I thought you would at least have some ssd even if it's 500gb like. but I guess ram and storage prices are pretty bad currently
i was going to get an nvme in fact
i had dodged the ram shortage since i got the ddr5 in sept2025
but by the time i had finished it i was too late for a proper storage
i might take the nvme out of my laptop if its not soldered
I got lucky with a Samsung 990Pro 2tb. basically got a killer deal from a friend before prices sky rocketed
basically paid $70 from a friend for a 2tb 990Pro nvme
wow
yeah I have an overkill amount of storage. 2tb 990Pro NVME, 2tb Teamgroup Mp34 NVME, 256gb Kingston NVME, 2tb SP A55 Sata SSD, 1tb SP A55 Sata SSD, and a 1tb 870Evo Sata SSD. so basically 8.25tb total. was at 9.25tb but I retired the last only only hard drive I had
what could you possibly need 9tb for
idk lol
anyway im okay with the build it does what i need it to do
although slowly because of my hard drive
yeah for Minecraft a 4060 is plenty.
i think my next step would be proper SSD and maybe AIO but apparently that's only needed for stronger cpus
you don't need an aio, it's just a 7600x
these cpus are made to be able to handle even 95c at max load
yeah your good
in full workload, the x series cpus in Ryzen 7000 are made to boost until 95c to maximize performance. but that's only in full all core load
in the future it may change when they go to Vulkan
they already did that
for 26.1 latest yea
oh wait its latest snapshot
26.2
online says in the summer
so not quite yet I guess
