A monster in its day, the only thing left usable is the SSD, HDD, DVD Ripper, and the PSU. The chassis will not be rebuilt. Its been parted out, everything tested, and now sits in my brother's basement in pieces.
wdym 256gb ddr3
still a monster
my condolences
The fuck? It deleted my message
its like losing your old friend
Yes it is.
Let me repost the damn message since this server is a cuck.
What I came from, now a shell of its former self. CPU Cooler ruptured, spilled on the GPU while I was playing FH5. Killed everything but the PSU & drives.

and the ram died....
I was running 8 lanes of DDR3 with as much ram as possible. I was using 48GB of it as VRAM for the GPU
That thing was a fucking tank.
a airplane
You couldn't drag it down.
It ran minecraft at max render distance and max settings at over 600FPS at night with mobs spawned in.
Think about that, a quarter of that ram was being used as pooled VRAM for that modified 2060 super which already had 10GB put on the board by a customs shop. I had it sent off to be decked out.
I over clocked the hell out of that thing and beat the piss out of it every single day. There wasnt a game or emulator that could drag it down, it just brute forced everything you threw at it.
so i had this configuration until one sunday in november it didnt post, i spent hours and hours and hours until i found out the motherboard caps degraded, could be due to heat but it did serve good 4.5 years since i got the components id use it for 10 more years but buying another motherboard could result in the same deal so i gave up
i had a foxconn tsaa 841 (still do)

mine was lately kind of neglected
because since i started going to work i get tired just from sitting on the pc so i got a laptop for bed
also there was dust balls in the ram slots, cpu socket and pci e slot idk who caused it me or previous owner
i never bothered overclocking i was so satisfied with it beamng ran on lowest 1024x768 at 80-100 fps, perfect for having fun with mods, gta san andreas ran perfectly on max settings and all need for speed games 2000-2006 ran perfectly too
now i put 3 120mm fans, the cpu cooler can handle 180w (compared to my 65w stock which i undervolted 5600g), i now have no gpu so the psu has much more headroom, now die bitch
and i put the desktop on the table
here is the current system
