ikea probs, evn aliexpress
The desk from a local store, its a kitchen/garage desk countertop or whatever u call it in English
^
cost me €109,-
Installed the IKEA support legs myself and and the IKEA drawer
All came to a price of €190,-
Well go to a ‘home depot’ but than the ones u have over there
I wanted one for 280cm but couldn’t find one that wasn’t 80cm deep
Because i build pc’s i need the space
I dont really build pcs anymore
the competition is too high
most people jsut get prebuilds
Literally none of them have a desk that big and if they they are thick and too deep
I dont really mind but they were like REALLY thick cus they were dining table sessentialy
Well mine now is 28mm
Which is good
But I wouldn’t mind one thats like 35mm
mines 20 but the dining table was 40+ 💀
Oof
Thats a bit on the bigger side
But if ur mounting ur monitor arm to the desk its good
In the end I just got one 160cm desk form Ikea and another 90cm desk with less depth so I could add a bookshelf behind it
Ah I see
What do you think of the almost black 4070 TI Super build?
Sending ss in a sec
um which oen theres 3
the one with the inno3d gpu?
Its something completely opposite from my other builds
These are my other
But I also build on requests and this person wanted minimal to 0 rgb
yeah theyre average rgb builds, have you tried custom watercooling?
they all look clean tho
Havent yet, just started building pc’s and selling them 2 months ago
Ive build my own pc’s before so I kinda know what I am doing
🤣
I would build and sell pcs but ther are allot of things stopping me. 1. In the Uk especially everyones broke so nobody wants to drop the cash on a 5080. 2. Ram inflation is fucking crazy 3. Prebuilds are often peoples go to anyway 4. the profit margins dont justify spending ¬2 hours on a build each. 5. High upfront cost and tbh rn im just selling consoles on ebay to build feedback and when ebay deems me a reputable seller then I may expand into the pc building industry
Well I do it as a hobby so not in it for the money, ram prices are crazy here too. But I do most builds on request and I buy some complete pc’s and make m nice
For a pc on request i make between €120 - €200,- for a pc I am flipping its €250 - €400,- profit
here its hard to even get $100 profit
Just a bigger risk on the pc I am flipping but the pc build on request I get a downpayment and build it
Depends on how u price ur pc’s
I just add 100 on top of the pcpp list and even at 50 ppl dont buy
where are you listing ur builds
Buy second hand
On the local market place app
ah I see I tried on fb marketplace and ebay and it seems most ppl probably wont trust it like that
I have about 25 listings all different configurations and if its too high for their budget I make a list for something that fits in their budget
where are u based
The Netherlands
mhm ok
