#Fans

Those are the fans that came with this thermal right cooler
The six Cooler Master fans that are attached to the radiator were one of the parts that was reused from the previous system that has been upgraded to this point
So because I didn't want to mismatch fans I decided to do it this way
I think it looks Overkill but pretty cool in my opinion anyway
Thanks I'm happy with it
It was actually pretty inexpensive parts-wise except for the processor
And the graphics card that he saved from a previous build
Thermalright frozen infinity @amber chasm
Actual fans are tl-m12
I got them too, theyre cool asf, I like their discrete look
No rgb in fan blades is my go to
What are the specs?
Yeah I like them :)
Looks pretty neato
9800X3D
32GB ddr5 6400
RTX 4090
Yeah that wide ass gpu I knewnit was a 4090 ๐ญ
10/10 for aesthetics.
Yeah. The 4090 was saved from his previous build
Very good build.
Along with the case and the CoolerMaster fans
Very well
I'm using a 3080Ti ๐ญ
Haha yeah. That's the smallest 4090 though
Solid card
Indeed
Still holds up in 1440p gaming
Make sure you get the new LGA1851 update for your CPU
Still good to this day
I believe it's called the Intel S200 update
Boosts the performance of your platform a lot

My bad
Oh cool! Thanks!!!
You're welcome :)
intel ultra is a solid cpu despite all the stuff that is wrong with it
No need to upgrade lol
Yeah bad value isn't the same as bad performance
Here's my PC.
Plus CPU bottlenecking is a lot less common and a lot easier to deal with than GPU bottlenecking
damnn
It cost me ยฃ1299 โฅ๏ธ
fire
Ikr โฅ๏ธ
Less common and not a big deal
Yep
cpu bottlenecking is annoying to deal with, I got a ryzen 5700x with a 5070
I'm happy with it, I upgraded from an i7 4790K/GTX 780Ti with 16GB DDR3 2400MHz.
True but most games aren't CPU intensive their GPU intensive
Took me about a year to save up and build it.
And you can always up the resolution
Bloody expensive to barter with pricings etc since most people ask too much for items.
I stay at 1440p 4k aint worth it
Ill probably cope a ryzen 9800x3d once this cpu runs out of fuel
I won't be upgrading for sometime, if not a few years until Nova Lake comes out.
I kinda dealt with the issues by overclocking, and its fine because that cpu is water cooled
5700x3D. I've tested that with a 4090 at 1440p and it doesn't CPU bottleneck
Yeah overclocking is difficult if you don't know what you're doing lol ๐
For beginners that is.
I tried OCing my 4790K with a broken CPU cooler with NO fans from 4GHz to 4.5GHz using the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
nah thats
Bloody nightmare LMAO, it just froze up and BSOD.
way too big of a diff
Yeah I know.
I didn't manage to get to 4.5GHz so it's stock at 4GHz
Haswell OCs better
Yup you can get em to 5GHz if you're lucky.
ON A STABLE OVERCLOCK if you undervolt it.
PROPERLY.
I've never tried it myself, but I've seen people do it via benchmarks and it's quite impressive.
Issue was I was using a GTX 780Ti which has no more driver support.
So I was screwed.
Performance is also good for it's age
Ive got to try those some time
Yep
Especially what you can do with it.
6600 pairs nicely for 1080p gaming
I mean you can even pair it with a 2080Ti for example and get 1440p out of it.
Sure does!
Yep
It's really fun to pick up an office PC with one of those in it and throw 16 GB and a 3050 6 GB
And suddenly you can play Red Dead
And cyberpunk
Yup I plan to use my 4790k setup as a spare PC for my GF lol.
the 3050 gets real hate but its solid budget to play at medium
I don't know what if pair mine with. I had a 780Ti that died lol, it was the founders edition.
The 4060 also gets hate.
youre obviously not going to run cyberpunk in ultra with a 3050 at 60 fps without using dlss
but you get the point
Yeah for budget builds they're decent cards.
ive been able to run cyberpunk in an rtx 4050 max ray tracing path tracing off with dlss and frame generation
I got a laptop with a 4050 lol
you can obviously get better price value off amd but people dont appreciate the power that nvidia gpus have for productivity
productivity is the reason why I still bought a 5070
despite its awful value, I got one for almost msrp
Oh I'm like oh yeah I'll splash ยฃ2000 on a setup to play games at like 1440p 60fps that'll just be shit in a few years with newer stuff coming out.
I'm not like that.
thats one big deal, Ultra gaming is an unrealistic goal for someone whos just trying to start
True.
Yeah well I was in an accident a few years back so it paid for it.
I got compensation.
But other than that I was lucky to be alive lol
I'm sticking with Intel because most if not all my PC's have been Intel based.
Indeed.
A PS5 Pro basically is a PC because it uses AMD Components.
If you feel comfortable with intel no reason to switch, I really think its down to everyone's preference and the price value their looking for
Yeah exactly.
people shit on me for buying a 5070 but like idrc I paid for it myself and I knew there was better options but I still went for it for my own reasons
Basically is but consoles get away with worse hardware due to heavy optimizations
Just a PS5 is known for 2 things, compactibility and couch based stuff with family.
pcs dont, like you gotta see how ridicolous it is to run a game at ultra settings on a pc (it obviously looks better than a console, but consoles still look great)
That's WHY HDR is a thing ๐ญ
4K HDR support.
Native 1080p
120hz
rescaled in 80% games
Yeah the downside of it all.
and probably running at medium high settings compared to pc version
Upscailing to 4K is nice.
Medium.
If not possibly High depending on the game.
But each to their own, whatever you like, don't fall for people's negativity and opinions, you get what you want, it's your decision not theirs, they're the one whos' buying it.
much clearer image at the exchange of post process being worse, even so dlss carries a lot and id never understand why people bitch about dlss so much when you see no difference at all
Console or PC whatever you want to use is down to your own personal preference.
surely, DLSS brings optimization problems and people lazying out on them
Fun fact consoles allow keyboard and mouse support.
but it gives old gpus extra life
True.
Yea I used to play with keyboard on my xbox one
I graduated to pc with an IGPU and built it up from there
If not the majority of AAA titles allow keyboard and mouse support, so you wouldn't even need a PC.
that ryzen 3600g carried me hard bro
๐ญ
rest in peace my brother has that cpu now
Yeah same, I had a PS5 for a few months bought it for around ยฃ310 when it was on sale, and then gave it to my brother.
I used keyboard and mouse on it.
I also use an xbox one s and I use it for couch co-op or youtube downtime when im bored.
It's an alright CPU but meh it hits hard.
I stream my pc on the couch when I wanna co-op
Nice
solid ass console, it really still holds up to this day
theres no new interesting games to play a lately anyway
I have younger brothers who use my XBOX account and again it is a pain in the ass when I wanted to play the oblivion remake lol kicked me off it soon as I created my character xD
True I mean there's always L4D2 if you wanna revisit nostaligia.
I own it on disc and I play it sometimes, it lags to shit but eh I have fun.
It's 4:52am and I've not slept LOL
๐
I've not done an all
nighter in a while.
LMAO
Eh I haven't got anything to do lol I might sleep in about 10 mins if not 5.
I'll have to see but yeah again fr the 3600g was a goated CPU for it's time.
Thats the cpu my parents bought during the shortage and I remember being crazy cus I could play roblox at max at 60 fps and Minecraft with light shaders
Mid 2021
Nice!
Minecraft is a bitch to run.
I swear ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ mods
Mods are the death of me when it comes to Minecraft.
Install a modpack to get a 5 min loading screen time and get your ram all eaten up
Ikr ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Ikr ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Haha wow you guys are popping off
Yup I'm gonna get it now goodnight ill speak later today if I'm on sleep well ๐
Night!
Np man I did my first pc last night it was a great time and it worked first try and I'm very pumped to use it once I get a monitor
Thank you, imo they look better than lian li fans
I agree
The bigger deal for me though is the liquid cooler itself
The Galahad pump block is kind of boring in my opinion
It doesn't match any of their fans
But this pump Block matches the aesthetic of their fans pretty much perfectly
i think it looks like a double mcwrap
Yeah I kind of love it
