I would not worry about how long it took to do for your first build. Better that you worked through it and got everything sorted out instead of trying to rush it and mess something up.

It is not a bad GPU, so don't worry. It isn't the optimal choice, per say. But it is still pretty often used, despite it's reputation. It will run a lot of games no problem. Enjoy the PC! 🙏
