the choice is all preference and what serves you better, the alex drawers have lits of great storage and look good but are bulky and take up lots of space

@iron ocean if your from the UK, like i am, Ikea don’t do those dark walnut counter tops i don’t think, we have pretty light counter tops I think there’s a few dark wood ones. But if your looking for a 200cm than i doubt you’ll find a dark oak. You could always get a custom countertop made (can be cheaper and stronger than ikea) for around £40-50 (60-70$) look on your local ebay, esty, wood companies ect

Ok, im going to do an 8-foot desk and push it all the way to the right, but should I do another on the left side, Alex drawer, or metal legs? I will have the right side be an Alex drawer.

8 foot desk will be enough for everything you have + more, whether you do another drawer or legs is up to you. if you do an 8 foot desk youre gonna need a leg in the middle to prevent bend
