What's the motherboard if I may ask?

I’d recommend it. It has good io and a lot of fan headers and usb headers. Max ram speed is only 6000 tho

6000 is standard I wouldn’t worry about it too much lol. Higher clocked ram with still work if you already have it

And rams

frigid sparrow
#

The speeds will be at most whatever the least speed fast one is

#

Ie 6000mt/s mobo and 7200 ram will run at most 6000mt/s

How was bios tho? Is it difficult to read?

#

So I should be fine with a 6200mhz

frigid sparrow
#

Bios is good think :3

#

If you already have it then yea but if there is a better deal for cheaper at 6000 I would go with that

I looked at the qvl list and saw the 6200mhz version on that and not the 6000mhz otherwise I would've choosen the 6000 idk if I read it wrong or something

QVL?

oak kernel
#

Qualified vendor list, it's a list for the motherboard that shows which components work with the motherboard

#

The link to it is on the motherboards site

frigid sparrow
#

Yea I wouldn’t worry about the list honestly. Anything that uses the DDR5 standard will work

#

Thanks I'm so stressed about the whole process of upgrading

frigid sparrow
#

I can help you out if you’d like to talk more about it dms

#

I actually designed a build for someone earlier today lol

Sure thing! It would be nice to get some worries off my chest about all this
