#Which cables?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Alright so uh
I don’t know which color would look good for the 24-pin on the mobo
I don’t want to go with rgb since it would be meh
Since the gpu cable is already rgb
go for white since the aio tubes are white
White with black accents or white?
Like the connector block
Specs?
I think it would look better with either both RGB or both plain white extensions
To be honest I think plain white with both, personally I don’t like the positioning of the GPU cable & the small space around it to work the cable. I think it would look cleaner with short slick plain cables that are also easier to manipulate & position
It would look better like this
I don’t so much agree with the fact that plain white would be better but they should match
Brand recommendation for it?
Can you maybe send me a link?
To what you are talking about
Yeah the position is kinda weird
I don’t mind having plain non rgb cables
obviously white
Alright
Thanks
This is so majestic
Ty
Asus & Lian li Rgb cables always look dope, I see corsair has made their own now as well, I haven't seen any reviews on it but I assume that the RGB acceptable & idk if I'm right but i also assume you can customise it in the Corsair Icue settings. All big brand RGB software is poo though (steelseries, razer, asus) and Icue included.
If you're gonna go with non-rgb. Honestly get anything (not too sketchy) that looks good & has cable combs. You can manipulate and position non-rgb cables a bit easier & get differen't angles/ positions. I'd suggest taking a look @ cable mod, you can totally customize your own cable to the smollest detail if you're looking for something specific otherwise quite often they have extension kits that go on sale quite often & have a few colour options. Hope that helps : )
@raw gyro please note that because of how big the gpu is (aka how close it is to the front fans) its going to rely soley on its own fans rather than recieve air from the case fans too
Oh .-.
So my front fans are essentially useless…
🥲
They look good
🙏
Also based on how big that gpu is its prob fine by itself
What gpu is that?
4080 Super
1 finger gap room between the front fans lol
Yea
try some different positions with the gpu cable as well whenever open up your pc and tinker, experiment going straight underneath, coming from the top down from the same place as the 24 pin cables. Experiment a lil bittie
Yup, I’ll do some experimenting
To see what positioning fits the best
Sure thing once I am home
Alright!
Everyone saying my gpu cable position is odd
Yk I might aswell play with it and see what I can do
I don't know if it's because the case looks so smol with that brick of the GPU or if it's because the cables are coming from a strange position (GPU) but yeah idk. It just somehow doesn't look right? xD hard to explain
Yeah the case is kinda small
Since it is mid tower version
There is an XL version
My build is very compact
That 4080 Super is bigger than I thought
But it fits
I would say use HWiNFO for more accurate temps
Where on the software?
I just downloaded it
If I may ask
I believe by clicking -> bottom left
Is there a way to tell how much total watts your pc is using?
I dont think so
Alr
I will fidget around with my strimer cable in a bit
Yeah the placement is odd
I sent the temps btw look above
Should be fine tho
Not too sure since I am new to all of this
its idle?
if so temps looks fine to me
dang mine idel 40C n its a 4060 ti 💀
(with wallpaper engine ofc)
@raw gyro i meant under load 😭
A application?
Mhm
Its a benchmark
Id like you to also tell me whats ur peak fps as i never saw a 4080 super in action
Risking my gpu lol
Wym...?
I see
I’ll look into it
You know that max temp for a gpu is 100°
Before it starts thermal throttleing
And even then its fine unless u let it throttle for a few hrs
And it wont even let you do that as the app would just crash after some time
Is this ur first build
Yeah
🥲
Anyone who worked with these strimer knows whats going on by any chance?
This is frustrating
But after I plug the gpu one into the motherboard now it is flickering
Thank you!
