It looks like there's 0 airflow in the case but I swear there are 12 fans in there playing cyberpunk 2077 gpu overclocked with path tracing the warmest it's gotten was 71c
The warmest the cpu has ever gotten was 47c

It's a shitbox but it's fast
Pc got enough intake to swallow a small dog
What gpu do u even have in there ;-;
Also case upgrade and power supply upgrade are top priority
I'm probably not gonna upgrade the power supply any time soon but I've been planning a case swap
The GPU is a rtx 3060 12gb
The power supply though is a 700w 90+ platinum grade
The other gpu in it is a gtx 1050 ti
It's mostly for extra monitors and lightweight Ai tasks
Like upscaling
WHAT
90+ platinum? ðŸ˜
what brand
It's a server or it used to be
The motherboard holds 256gb ddr4
is that server
2015
Uhhh it doesn't have a name or brand on it anywhere just a part number
But it's hp oem
I know the psu I have is designed to run under load 24/7 365 for at least 9 years
obviously its a server 💀
It had a 9 year warranty that had literally just expired 2 months before I got the pc
should check how the cpu is performing tho
That and I've doubled up it's fan intake
Cpu is a xeon e5 1650 v3 3.5ghz
I plan on swaping it though
0 idea whatt thatt is
It's 6 core 12 thread
I can upgrade to 22 cores and 44 threads at 2.4ghz
why server cpus tho
The one I'm looking at is 12 thread 24 core 3.2ghz
which cpu?
They seem to run harder and still achive lower temps
keyword seem
I'm looking at the xeon e5 2687w v4
theres a reason why people dont go around with servers for gaming
Mostly because they have a lower single core performance than consumer performance
Usually not worth unless you need good milticore
But the pc isn't just for gaming I do lots of 3d modeling and rendering
That's also why I have 2 graphics cards in it
aint multicore what most gamers use tho
might be fine then
Not really except really demanding games like city skylines
city skylines?
Most games don't use more than 4 or 6 cores at a time
It's like simcity
recomended : Intel® Core™ I7 2700K | AMD® Ryzen 7 2700X
r u sure
thats demandin?
City skylines 2 is one of the most cpu demanding games I've ever seen
oh 2
I've seen that game with a full fledged city make 100 core systems run 9fps
recomended : Intel® Core™ i5-12600K | AMD® Ryzen™ 7 5800X
ok fair
linus was playing a more demanding game tho i think
also most games actually have a great toll on the cpu
The only Game I've experienced any slowdowns because the cpu was nfs unbound
yeah relateble
that games bugged
i think
that + heat
Fr nfs 2015 was way better
people say this should fix it
but that doesnt really workk
sure the cpu % goes down from 100% to 60% but the gpu is still not at 100% so its still a bottleneck
Yea my GPU runs 29% on unbound on the highest settings
Cpu 100%
30fps
Feels like slow mo unless I close all my other programs
Then it speeds up to normal
But if I open smtm like task manager it goes slow mo
I'm also bottlenecked on my ram
It's running 1088mhz
The stick is a 2133mhz ddr4
There's only 1 ram stick in it a 32gb stick
The pc uses quad channel memory architecture so I need 3 more sticks to achieve full speed
And the pc picky about it's ram
Has to be micron-crucial ddr4
Ecc Rdimm
That sound card in the side I think I have one of those haven't seen one in a while
