Gpu mount???

That’s a very unique way of mounting I have never seen before for that type of setup 😅…

Genuine question is it not cutting air and only pulling air into the GPU?? Or is your gpu open at the top

This is the upright GPU position, My temps are pretty good so I'd say not but technically this isn't the optimal fan configuration for this setup, I considered doing the recommended orientation from Christopher Flannigans EVO XL Upright GPU guide but decided not to because I would have had negative pressure and just thought it wasn't worth the hassle. In the case of the EVO XL upright GPU's don't appear to effect temperature very much but can effect the CPU or GPU temps by a couple degrees depending on fan orientation, I've heard previously some people with larger cards temps got very high.

I've seen an explanation somewhere the reason some cards do better or worse has something to do with the heat pipes when you have the IO at the top... its been awhile so I would just search around until you find that answer. I'm not sure what you mean by if my GPU is open st the top but there is space at the bottom and top for some air to pass through without the card abstracting airflow from the side intake.

I think it helps with my White & black color contrast i was going for, spreads out the black throughout the build evenly but not too much
