i wouldnt use speakers, id invest in another monitor but i feel like the stand for my current one are in the way

#

i could go wall mount it, do you have any reccomendations for another monitor for stuff like youtube and discord

#

Usually a good midrange thats just good for browsing while gaming

#

And all the guides from discords/youtube are from the youtubers/discord people's personal prerference

#

So I always do my own research

#

Also wall mount seems a little stupid rn cause your desk is so empty eitherway

heavy flare
#

Like i'd see it becoming reasonable if u had like big monitors

#

And if ur so keen on not having stands, get the arm mounts instead

meager walrus
#

do not get a $200 second monitor !! @lapis obsidian

If you are even a tiny bit like me, you will LOVE it. I really can't go back to a single monitor setup anymore. I use it for discord, YouTube, Spotify, but also for dual screen video editing, and if I have to write a document for example, I use Google on the left monitor with all my sources, so that I can use my main monitor to write the document. It's also very useful if you are a streamer, because then you can have OBS for example running on the other monitor so that you can keep a look out on the chat and see if everything works properly.

I've also had 3 monitors and tbh that's a bit overkill. It's still useful and I want to go back to it one day, but it's not really needed.

The one above the laptop is the main

Thanks!!

#

I want to buy another stream deck for my other setup

#

I miss it every single second 🤣

crimson folio
#

I was thinking of getting one is it worth it even if you don’t stream?

bright monolith
#

Yeah I bought it when I was streaming but I havent really streamed in ages. I still use it so much when I'm behind that setup, for things like spotify. Is so useful, I dont have to alt + tab, I can just press one button while staying focussed int he game. And with a 60% keyboard, you dont have the numpad etc, however you can bind all the numpad keys to the streamdeck

#

Same goes for all the F keys, which go up to like F25 or something so you get extra hotkeys than your keyboard has

#

You can also use it to launch multiple programs at 1 time and automatically position them to the place you chose. So for like gaming you can let it open your favorite game, discord, spotify, whatever and automatically position it so you dont have to drag windows around

crimson folio
#

Damn I didn’t know it offered that much😭

#

Might have to get one

bright monolith
#

I do have to admit, when you get it you will use it way more than later one, but it keeps being useful.
