I think you suggested a different case but I went for a Montech 903 Max. Spacious, nice to build in, front panel was fully populated with case fans. thermally performant enough and cheap, very positive on Techpowerup. (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/montech-air-903-max/)

Corsair DIMM kit was the same price as the Lexar IIRC and I took that instead as I know it has a thermal pad on PNIC and absolutely has Hynix M dies.

Phantom Spirit is a monster, no clearance issues (fitted DIMMs in situ after unclipping a fan).

I would have probably shopped some more for 7900XT's from different vendors but the Hellhound is fine, that and the PSU i'd probably find something similarly priced with nicer caps (though tweaktown deemed it a good PSU so w/e)

only real demanding title I've played is RDR2, and even that's not considered bleeding edge now. mostly 144fps with no issues at 1080p maxed. Also played REM4ke for a little bit, same here (though haven't ran into particularly demanding scenes). I'm kinda paralysed with what to even run on it game wise that is good enough as far as eye candy. Have Control installed, will likely play that.

I don't care a huge amount for RT personally, always prefer high frame rates

very beefy STALKER overhaul. was certainly demanding on my old setup (4790/2060). strongly recommend if you're bored and want an open ended "get rich or die trying" singleplayer survival FPS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UytG_91f44
