No offence but this is exactly what cooked a lot of 4090s. Cables shouldnt bend at all.

The plug is definitely in all the way. But yeah I dono what to do. It’s a H9 Elite so it’s a big case but still didn’t have that much breathing room for the cable.

you can try and run the cable over head instead of bottom and have the connector come down and plug in, and or vertical mount the gpu to move the power connector on it away from the glass

i tried verital mount but my AIO tube gets in the way. And i did try from above but its literally the same amount of bend. I think its just that plug is bulky for some reason. even if i took off the RGB part of the cable it will be that bent still. I dono do people play with not glass cover? Im just afraid if i sneeze or something inside of it or if a bug goes in there.

hmmm I see idk I personally would not recommend removing the glass unless you have air purfiers or some other form to combat the dust that might get in... otherwise you might not be able to run that strimmer and need a heavy duty cable extension and or a new case... or you could always just leave it, I am not sure if it will damge the connection but it does not look that tight

i dont have the 8pin tho i have the 12 pin cord cus its a 4080. its way bulkier from the look of it. yeah theres no way for me to not have it press into it.

either or... personal perfence on what you wanna deal with tbh... either cleaning the PC more often with dust build up... and or leave it with the glass pressed in and see if it damages anything over time, like I said I doubt it, espesially with how thick those connectors are I highly doubt that little bit of pressure is gonna hurt it

honestly if you can do it, return the case and get something bigger. Dont cook you <$1000 card for a $100 case.

I have a corsair 4000d airflow with glass panel and my 4090 fits perfectly with no bending. You can use 4000d's dimensions as a reference.

Isn’t the Nzxt h9 elite bigger than the Corsair or does the Nzxt just have more with to fit more cables in the back? The amount of cables in the back is insane and 3 RGB controllers. Even took out 2 metal pieces in the back and the drive cage to barely have all the cables and controllers fit. How much room does the Corsair have in the back?

actually yeah ,your case is 290mm wide compared to 230mm of mine.
I dont know about the cables as I assembled it through someone else.

So the case is not a problem, check if you are doing cable management correctly.

Have you tried a lian li case?? I got 3 controllers to and still enough room for the cables as well… but I am not sure if the h9 is bigger

I have not. I’ll prolly look into it to see if it’s bigger. Maybe my gpu is just really big and that’s why it’s so close to the glass. It’s the Asus Rog 4080 and ive seen other 4080s that are smaller.
