special thanks to @glad pike @pliant needle @proper meadow @wide cloak for PC parts selection (sorry for the pings)
and anarch!sm, snark for top tier pc build help
Nice build but I would recommend a mouse from a reputable manufacturer. In my experience the random Chinese mice like to lie about the specs. My first one broke when it fell of the desk
If I works. It’s fine
I guess it just depends on what, games you play
Well I’d say upgrading the “mousepad” would be better
um yes it's currently a book
I'm waiting for the real deskpad to ship
lol
no gpu?
seems nice tho overall
looks better than my first build but ig back then rgb was not such a big thing
based on your specs i also think u didnt pay too much on the aesthetics/white tax
the only white tax i paid for was the $35 china case (all ARGB fans included) and $22.5 on deepcool ak400 wh
i also wanted to buy white cable extensions but those can wait until i buy the rtx 3060 12g
honestly i dont play games and the gpu isn't that big of a priority right now
main criteria was a 12/16 threaded CPU and 32GB RAM for compilation workloads
wanted to go AM4 but that platform is already dead so i spent some extra cash for AM5
total came out to be around $625 excluding peripherals
nice the fans were included, they dont look amazing but not bad either tbh
especially for 35$
yeah they're slightly trash molex fans with no control
but I'm just glad i can adjust the lights and brightness with mystic sync or something
this is the entire setup
(eye comfort enabled on monitor)
just received the $22 aliexpress mousepad
nice man
maybe in 20 years i will have a similar setup after getting a stable home..
hard to have setups when u have to keep moving
honestly, there's so many corners cut here
u havent seen my setup lol
biggest one is the table
a plastic one i found abandoned on the street, put white vinyl ($3) on top of it
XD
hah
think again bro
passively cooled 14900k tho not too bad ig. except it has none of the benefits of passive cooling like noise reduction ig 😂
Super sorry for the late reply, somehow Discord didn't ping me
Glad I could help,even if a little : D
(I hope you got your GPU now)
i edited the message one by one so that nobody gets pinged XD
and yeah thanks tons
(didn't get gpu yet 😭 i cant find white rtx 3060 anywhere)
I assume you have the funds now but just specifically looking for a 3060?
honestly looking for a white 12/16GB VRAM card that will work well with stable diffusion (essentially CUDA so Nvidia)
So a 3060
yeah cheapest one you can get that satisfied your requirement would be a 2nd hand 3060 12GB
otherwise, if you don't mind spending a lil more, there's the RTX 4070/4070 Super
yeah its the only option i could find
4070 is honestly completely out of my league
i was considering a used 3070 but then i realized they dont have a 12gb variant (why nvidia)
