the pump is fine, just air in the radiators which shouldn't really affect the pump
Ah okay
Well it affects temps
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Anyways that is a gorgeous build
double 360mm radiator good lord, what thickness?
top and bottom are 360x30
external is 420x55
yeah I managed to get the air out by now, it's not that much of a difference though
had to refill another 0.5L of coolant
and can probably do the same again in a few days/weeks
what is 420*55
We goin sub zero with this one 🗣️ 🔥
exactly
makes nice airport noises when on full load
Theres no way its actually needed right?
absolutely not
120mm² surface per 100W is recommended
1140W
What
i use a 750 or 800W PSU i think
somewhat, yeah
i mean it's a custom loop after all
which typically isn't even required for these components
Yea
but I really like the look of it and thought why not
Especially with an external rad
Ok then
If u like it
Looks really sophisticated
i used 2 360mm rads before without the external one and I had to remove the side glass to actually get good temps
with the external temps stay cool even with side glass on and lower fan speeds
Wdym by "good temps" tho
Well u would expect that with sn external rad i hope
gaming, multitasking, rendering all stays within 38 and 52°C CPU
as long as it doesn't throttle it should be fine though
assuming your room is ventilated
and doesn't turn into an air fryer
Good ol window
Cant imagine the people with 4090s and 14900ks in the summer
Fukin power limit: 50%
fair
Also did u just have a spare 420 rad
no, I bought it
Dam ok
together with the other 2 in the case rn
because I was unsatisfied with my previous ones from Corsair
Cool
Also cable manage these fans 😭
yeah dw it's a picture I took after just assembling it
I'm getting SATA & 4pin PWM extension cables tomorrow so I can move the rad under my table and have everything clean
start of my 20s
got lucky with crypto
Damn ok
main reason why most of my stuff is EKWB is because they're the only ones taking crypto as payment
the other like 10% of stuff is alphacool because they're basically my neighbors
(I mean they are also very good)
used to be better
charging apple prices for their products
and current situation with employees etc
Idk whats happening tbh
basically employees and partners who haven't been paid for months, manufacturers who aren't paid, taxes aren't paid, etc
Sounds like theyre fucked
CEO made a (in my opinion weak) statement ensuring things are getting fixed
but it honestly doesn't look like it
made an order late april which included 3 bottles of coolant which were supposed to be back in stock may 3rd
by may 7th I am still waiting and I get an email stating they're not restocking until may 31
Casual 1 month delay
and upon support request they said they have internal issues, bla bla so I just asked them to take out the bottles, they shipped it immediately and I just bought different coolant somewhere else
so yeah, things are going downhill
and there's plenty of other brands which make better products at lower prices
Alphacool and Heatkiller seem to be top picks atm
together with Barrow and Bitspower
I have never heard of any of those 😭 (besides alphacool)
Not really into custom water cooling
yeah, they're not as known as Corsair or EK i guess
but if you dig deeper you'll find out that most Corsair watercooling products (besides blocks) are just other products rebranded
Yea i wouldnt be suprised
I'm not a big fan of Corsair anyway
NZXT H9 Elite
looks cool but is a nightmare building a loop in it
if I could undo my decision I definitely would
and get a NV7/NV9 or O11 instead
it is
Elite has glass top
Flow has mesh top
I think i know why ur temps werent that good without the external rad...
nah, there is still mesh, just not the entire top
and you can definitely feel the cool air coming out
The thing on the side?
Yea that
as you can see my top radiator isn't even properly mounted because the H9 sucks
Rip
the frame that's supposed to hold the rad is too thin and doesn't allow the radiator to fit
Anyways that looks like the fans would really need to force the air out
Oh god 😭
How is it mounted then
the fan pressure and RPM is good enough, shouldn't really be an issue
NZXT US allows people to buy the mesh top for cheap, too bad I'm in the EU
held in place by 4 screws on 1 side and things connected to the radiator pushing it upwards
Pay us so you can now have the cheaper version of the case 🗣️ 🔥
God thats scuffed
and bottom radiator is held in place by the tubes and old keycaps to the left and right so it doesn't slide around in the case
Id return that thing and get a different case
I feel like NZXT's designers never seen a radiator before
w h a t
well, I was thinking about it but reassembling my entire loop, getting new tubes, bending new tubes, draining and refilling 3 liters of coolant isn't really planned atm
exactly
Rip
not even the distro plate can use all 8 screws because the mounts in the H9 are so stupid
so it's only mounted with 4
great case for aesthetics and air cooling
horrible for custom loops
yeah
the side only allows 120mm distros / fans / radiators
90% of "universal" distro plates are 140mm width
A 120mm distro would be pretty pointless wouldnt it?
I'm using a 120 rn
doesn't make any difference
Talking about width only
not height
Still pretty dumb
if I find a o11 evo xl on sale I'll definitely switch cases
then I can finally get rid of all the stupid runs I've done so far and actually mount my shit like it is supposed to be
Hope thats soon
Well
and I dont really move my case
Barely
yeah it could be much better
Id still be pretty paranoid knowing thing in my pc are mounted like that
but it works
everything held without screws, so why should it not hold with screws
cya
You have the same name and pfp as one of my friends lol

He sounds like a chad 😎
