easily a miata
So how much for the pc
~5100EUR / $5433 USD
its easily more considering the original was with a 4070 which was abandoned after not even 3 months
because i decided to want a watercooled gpu as well
so i just bought a 4080
i was thinking about it but i didnt want to buy a new PSU again
and my electricity bill wouldnt like it either
awesome build
the 4090 is almost double the price of the 4080 over here
- as previously mentioned electricity cost, new PSU, etc etc
By the way, you do not ever need a 4090 to play games on your pc
The 4090 is overkill for 99.99% of games
Loving the frosted tubes
what do you wanna see?
everything 😍
I'll do it once I cleaned everything up
have to get rid of all the hundreds of packaging boxes
you could’ve gotten a C4 Vette project car with that money lol, insane build
I’m considering a CPU only loop for my rig too tbh, what parts would you recommend? It’s in a hyte Y40 case rn
this is it
your case is going to be problematic
you dont really have the radiator space
unless youre willing to do an external radiator setup
if you want to do it anyway, dont do it like me and go all EKWB, instead, check out alphacool's radiators or hardware labs gtr/gtx/gts series
get a heatkiller block or a direct die block and delid your cpu
for fittings i would also recommend alphacool, barrow and bitspower are cheaper but some people say they cut their fingers on the fittings
for the liquid id go for mayhems XT liquids
and then its up to you whether you go hardtube or soft tube, go distro plate or pump/reseirvoir combo
and have a budget of $500 - $1000
Also couldn’t I fit a 25mm 360 up top and a 45mm 280 on the side? There’s actually alot of clearance on the side intake area
ah but now there’d be no space for a distro plate/pump combo, I see
thank you
yeah and for that cpu 1 radiator wouldnt really be enough to make a significant difference compared to the AIO cooler you already got
However come to think of it there is alot of space behind the GPU where I could fit a reservoir/Pump, so I could use two avg thickness rads and do that, what reso’s do you recommend?
id almost recommend to mount the pump/reso on the outside, building on a space this tight is going to be really difficult
heatkiller has a pretty good reso, i dont know if the pump is included, choice would be up to you which one youd buy
👍
alphacool has some kind of mini distro plate or more like a resirvoir
it has a pump mount and is 120 x 120 iirc
you could mount it in the back
let me double check rq
or was it EK
alphacool it is
That works too
you could get clearance issues though
it’s fine, i’ll remove that fan if I have to
yeah in that case check what radiator thickness you can do without interfering with other components and then try using the flat reseirvoir mounted in the back
that could work
About 35ish mm up top max before the rad hits my ram, as for the sidemount 280 like as thick as it goes
put a 58mm radiator on the side 😈
💀
might as well toss my glass side panel out if I do that lol, Zero intake is getting in💀
Also are fittings universal?
no, radiators and the reseirvcoir are G1/4, basically all fittings are G1/4
but depending on your tubing / tube thickness you will need tinner or thicker fittings
actually, dont use alphacool for fittings, their sizing is dogshit
unless you go 14mm hardtube
which is the most common i think
otherwise youll get some dumb sizes that are only compatible with their own tubes
yeah, every rad for watercooling should have G1/4
the flat reseirvoir i sent only supports D5 pumps
the preinstalled one will be fine if you do cpu only
Video of water moving
dayum this is like the best build i have ever seen no doubt
