yes - watercooling is cooler (physically and physically) than air cooling

physically as how it looks, and physically as how good it cools the cpu

anything that has the fan facing into the motherboard is bad

watercooling is probably better for the motherboard - it is much less heavy because only the block is supported, the rest goes to the case

this is because it has a tiny heatsink, less heat capacity etc
