It really depends how you look at it. For example if Sky just games on his computer at a resolution of 1440p a 4070 ti might offer him more performance than a 3090. In 1440p the 4070 ti is on average faster while at 4k the 3090 beats it on average due to it having a 384 bit bus and more vram. Features the newer card has DLSS 3, on average 30% less power, and warranty. If you do more than just gaming a 3090 is a clear winner especially for video editing.

Oh sorry for the over sight. Even still a 4080 super even with its lower vram is still better than a 3090 in both gaming and productivity
