Whats the keyboard? been looking for something like this
Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro
Are you a primarily an esports player?
No. I only play cinematic games most of the times - and also a lot of simulation/strategy/4X games like HOI4, Cities Skylines etc.
Why not the 32 inch variant then?
Sorry, I’m not saying you made a mistake. I’m just trying to gather as much data as possible before buying one of the new QD OLEDs myself.
Too big. Causes fatigue at less than 2 feet. I have an LG C2 that I used for a while. And that was extremely big. I always felt dizzy playing games like cyberpunk
Woah, really? I’m around ~3 feet.
I wish that we get a 4K 27 inch variant. But 1440p is not bad at all. The text is extremely sharp even with an QD OLED at 1440p
For some reason, they don’t make super high PPI panels like 4k 27inch, except in the professional space. I feel like Apple is responsible somehow.
I also play a lot of point and click games like sims, cities skylines, stellaris and HOI4. Those games can become extremely tiring with a bigger screen. I personally shrunk the window to half the size on my C2 for such games. And I spend a good 2 hours a day in such games… think of heavy web browsing mechanics as a game - that’s how those sim strategy games feel like on a big screen
If you really want a quality 4K 27 inch display - LG silently launched a mini led 4K 27 inch display with 1500+ dimming zones! (That’s more than the Neo G8)
I already have a 240hz 1440p IPS monitor. The only meaningful way for me to upgrade, is too oled imho.
Mini LED is not just plain IPS, it’s IPS with FALD… giving you very similar visual quality as OLED without the risk of burn in. It’s very hard to distinguish between mini led and OLED unless you are already experienced with OLED. Like I was with the C2
Of course - OLED has much better response times. So if you are a competitive gamer, then OLED is a no brainer
