$5000~
Bought at microcenter so I’m able to turn in these parts any time in any condition in the next 3 years and I get my money back
thats nice
i wish there was a micro center near me
would be cool to just be able to see what stuff they have in stock
Mine is almost 2 hours away. Worth the drive though.
mhm
You can check online for sure
They’re about 80% accurate
The most expensive part was obviously the top 4 things; Asus z790 formula board, the 128gb ram, rtx 4090 strix, and the i9-14900k
understandable
Luckily I bought my 3090 from here so I’m basically trading in my 3090 and getting store credit then buying something else and getting a refund for it. So realistically the whole build was just over 3k out of pocket
well at least that definetly helped the budget
100%. I love microcenter for that very reason.
You know that taste you get when you have too much sugar?
just wanna ask, if you put 4 sticks of ddr5 high frequency ram, they decrease frequency right
or they just don’t post
That’s my opinion on this build, the cake tastes really good but too much icing and it makes it a little not great
But if you like it then great 😊 👍
That seems really nice
That case is sick too
I’m a little late, but yes
I can get 6600 (which is what frequency they are) with 2, or 4600 with 4
do you not have a heavy requirement on speed?
i was thinking to get the g skills trident z5 ddr5 24gb*2 8000mhz cl40 one
with rog maximus z790 apex encore
I did a bit of digging, XMP is making it very unstable if I attempt 6600 with all 4. Random crashes and whatnot
yeah, i don’t normally consider 4 sticks unless i have to get more ram
I’m still fine with 64gb of ram 😂
Thank you!
This is it when it’s all 100%. I’m certain I wont want everything to be at 100% brightness, especially those Lian li strips
haha ok
nice
