#Massive heatsink

The heatsink is massive, why didn’t you go with an aio? (sincere question, no hate)
*cpu heatsink
Its just a peerless assasin 120se, cost £30 and performs very well
I had to reorder it for my new AM5 system going from my Z390 board because I lost the box with the am5 mounting hardware so I just ordered a new one and just took one of the fans from my old identical cooler
Im probably going to get a 360mm aio down the line because itll fill the case up nicely and they look cool. AIOs are entirely overkill for this cpu though as it rarely uses more than 80w and this cpu cooler keeps it extremely cool
It runs at like 55 degrees under gaming load and my fans are sub 1000rpm so i dont hear them
7800x3d barely puts out heat, aio's would be purely for looks and maybe noise
Aio looks cool 🙂
I’ve never seen someone mount three fans on the PA lol
I had a spare set of fans from my other PA so I thought I’d give it a go cus it looks cool :D I don’t imagine it makes much difference to cooling performance though
It does look pretty cool
