Removed the front cages and put in custom brackets to hold 120 mms, and cut out the PCIe bracket to fit a modern GPU.
Those silver levers let you pop the cages out

Yup. Also had to remove vid card when I added drives since theres not enough room to slide it out. The fan grill in the front only goes as high as the top of the lowest drive cage, so you were able to add fans up to there or did you also remove all the spots for the cd/dvd drives? What about the back as the grills are only big enough for those small fans.
