Did you clean the cpu already (with disposable paper towels or similar stuff and with alkohol (you need the good stuff that doesnt leave traces))?

i replaced it with a 5800x3d, along with an upgrade from a 5700Xt to a 7800XT

its served me 4 years, it was time for an upgrade

just.. next time ill make sure to use my own paste instead of whatever comes with the cooler

Can you explain why to use your own paste without using the one that comes in with the cooler? They are sending it for a reason or no? Thank you

some paste is better then others, paste that came with the cooler is likely not as good as the stuff you can buy yourself
