hi yeah
I dont like the oled mounted so high up
ty yeah and under the desk wasnt great as I got carpet
If I'm honest with you, under the desk would have like a 99.99999999% of being fine because of antistatic protections
BUT I understand the concern
I'm assuming the pc is built new alongside the setup? @silver moon
this was when I was testing double tv and I kept knee banging it
The PC is semi new. I built the 13700k ddr5 3 monmth ago
I just went a little crazy and bought a 4080 to replace a rmad 3080
and then added the oled because i wanted to try it
Fair lol
Honestly wouldn't know what to suggest outside of "smaller case"
But if that's something you bought recently, no point
Floor mount would be fine though
I have a p400 case but it cooked my 3080, I am thinking maybe a 2nd desk
Doubt you would realisticly face any issues with proper grounding on the case
Mm ok
For small cases they do go SMALL
But it's rather determined by Motherboard size
was how it looked with some scrap wood I did to test and decided a bigger desk was needed, but most desks are 23in in depth
I am thhinking turn the pc sideways maybe and put the tv in front, but then the tv/,monitor would still be 2 level divided. and I was using a ottomoan under the desk, thats why I thought maybe sideways would work lol
what type of floor rack would you suggest if I do decide to try floor ing again?
I actually quite like how that looks
You could buy a proper rack if you wanted, but to be honest I would invest in an itx/matx build instead of you were going to swap case
nah keeping the case, my p400a cooked the 3080, so need a case with good air
Alright I see
I just want to use the oled as my main display but struggling to find a way , I need a bigger house l;ol
Yeah ๐
You could put it sideways, or just on the floor by your legs
Other would work
Sideways would be a bit jank, make sure your GPU and everything is correctly installed first
Id be worried about tension on the pcie if you did it glass down, so you would need to do glass up which would probably defeat the purpose
yeah I need to buy a gpu support bracket cause I actually broke the pcie plastic clip installing the gpu lol
lol no id do it glass up if I did
no sag though, thankfully
this would be the only other way I can do it, put the pc behind the tv, standing but facing left and right, but Ill need a desk exntender for keyboard and mouse if I do this or a 2nd desk
I can tell Arkansas is having fun
Hi sorry for the delay. I just sold the M28U on FB market for $400. I paid $529 a year ago, so I am not too sad about the price. I am gonna just use the one. I might remount the 2nd TV. Please ignore that ugly rats nest under the desk. I am gonna order a tower stand and proper manage the cable Room is still in need of paint
What do you guys think? Remount the 2nd tv as a semi monitor mostly cable or stay solo? I took @cursive sand advise and put the pc side ways under the desk
gpu goes burrrr lol
Sounds like a plan
Aslong as you are fine with that sort of setup
Cries in 4k30fps while playing starfield
60fps all day my friend, dips to 50 55 at times ๐
