Hi friend @amber atlas what did you use? What are the parts? It looks so so cool!
It isn't a pc .. it's just the gpu ๐
Wait what? ๐
๐
๐
I thought that's a mini ATX in low light.
Btw which one is it?
Palit Gamerock 4070 Ti
Thanks bro. โฅ๏ธ
Original caption was because it's so big I'm glad I bought a full tower case ages ago and ignored everyone who was saying "no point, won't need the space" etc
How much was the price for it? Just to make a guess if I'm buying the right price
Aah! ๐ ๐ That makes sense now!
I got mine for ยฃ820 on Amazon but they only had one left and the cheapest after I bought mine was ยฃ880
Damn! Will check on Amazon. Thanks so much.
What CPU you paired it with?
13400f
Fps target is only 60 so ๐คทโโ๏ธ
It can do 60 at 4k with DLSS easy in 99% of games and that's without framegen
Need to used balanced or performance DLSS if I wanna switch on frame gen though because that eats VRAM
Makes sense
The support bracket on the end is also pretty good, its a semi telescopic little pole on a pivot that screws into the GPU
So basically an ATX would suffice if I want to put this one.
The card has like only a 20cm ish clearance on my large full tower so I'd go with something big for a case
I got a 13600K and thinking to pair it with a good GPU. Probably the 4070 ti now.
Do you think 13600K will have any bottle neck issues with 4070 ti or should I rather opt for 13600f?
i5
Oh, that could be an issue ๐, which case you got?
13100 wont have bottleneck issues with 4070Ti unless you wanna play at huge fps or the game is very CPU hungry
You can get like well over 400fps with a 4090 and a 13400 in 1080p games so ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I mean with the CPU which comes with an integrated graphics card. Will that integrated graphics card act as bottle neck or we can switch that off and purely use an outside GPU like our beloved 4070 ti?
I just checked. It's coming for 970$ here ๐คฉ
Integrated GPU would only matter for some non gaming stuff
Got you! That helps bro.
Also fwiw that's a 329mm GPU,
G360a supports up to 400mm
4000d supports 360mm
Meshify 2 Compact supports 341 with all fans installed
So they were actually right ๐
Lian Li 216 is 392mm
Supports up to x, not including a push/pull rad in the front which is another 80mm lol
Have to take that into account
You don't have to run a push/pull rad in the front but sure...?
G360a at least would still support it
It's my case air intake and the fin density is quite high so I need the extra airflow from push/pull (tested it and makes 5ยฐC difference) and all the mounts are occupied
Cool
Always buy a case for what you could have, not what your current parts demand lol
Maybe?
Rule of thumb I use for case and PSU
Saves upgrading
Plus you can only djent with a full tower so ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Sure but cases and PSU's aren't that expensive, not everyone needs to do that, and your original comments are pretty disparaging when your original premise isn't actually correct lol.
Radiator at the front with one fan layer is extremely common, the gpu would partially block airflow even with up to a healthy 100mm gap, nothing is disparaging about spending a small amount of extra money to save wasting much more later and they weren't correct because for my use case they wouldn't have fit
Also having reservoir at the front is very common
I have a p500a with a push pull on a 38mm rad and a 3090, FWIW. Plenty of mid towers will do that just fine.
I'm glad you like your stuff, but it's still not accurate to claim you need a giant case to support stuff like this
And making fun of people that were trying to help you IS disparaging.
Jesus wept nobody made fun of you, gtfo of this thread if you're gonna be deluded and soft. You're here arguing that my point isn't accurate when it was made for my individual use case based on the fact I bought with upgrades in mind for the future, which is perfectly valid so just go away if you're gonna be contrarian ๐
No time for this kind of weird banal attitude of people arguing for the sake of it
Okay, get out of my server if you're going to make fun of the people who volunteered to help you?
So you come in this thread, posit a view that isn't correct and misinterpret the point I was making, infer some kind of mockery when I didn't and then throw your toys out the pram trying to take some high horse attitude when I tell you to go away because you're doing nothing constructive...
No, I'm just calling out that it's pretty rude to make fun of the people who helped you, in a volunteer server, with accurate information, just because you decided to go another way.
There's nothing wrong with going the other way. The disparagement is where I took issue.
