Well it is an air cooled GPU so I would suggest not putting it vertical to begin with

#

But you're going to have to rig some sort of physical mechanism, as you are not able to fit a PCIe slot based one, maybe see if you can get something onto the third fan hub?

#

Or a thin piece between 2 fans

#

Alternatively, you could 3D print something that goes into the mounting holes for the fan itself

Why not vertical mounting it? Thermals if horizontal or vertical really dont matter with the 4090, doesnt go higher then 65

#

I know nobody with a 3d printer

If you're seeing the same temps, I'd bet it's just because your fans have room to ramp up to compensate, but I can't imagine it's the ideal setup there

#

GPU supports can be made of pretty much anything though. Popsicle sticks cut with a sharp knife, Legos, modeling clay, etc. The two common types 1. Go into the PCIe slots on the case and add an additional cross member below the card, and 2. Support the card from the bottom. Neither are really ideal in this setup

#

But you're going to have to really try to find a good spot with the fans there, unless you can add some support to the bottom

My GPU Is set up for push pull config.

#

I swapped the GPU rad fans with 15mm slims in order to make this work and I’m so glad it did. I didn’t wanna see the radiator at all.

That's very cool, but that is a liquid cooled GPU, so what I said doesn't really apply?

@minor bison off topic but can u change the display on that cooler?

@dire berry did you tag the right person? The person you tagged? I don't see any messages from in server history
