No I tested it it just fine but I am going to upgrade cpu

Reason I ask is , I have a similar setup but I feel like my 5600x is bottlenecking my gpu

Depends on what resolution you are running at. If you are running at 1440p you might miss an average of 10 frames or 4k you most likely will be fine.

Yeah I'm running at 1440p 144hz

Mostly depends if the game will stress the gpu this can be seen by gpu usage percentage

Okay. I know when I got my card I ran an extreme preset on heaven and the GPU only got to 89% utilization
