Oh so you want to flip the aio upside down?
wouldn't you want it to be higher than the pumps ideally?
It's not that big of a deal
Ah okay
Interesting, that's not what I've seen on YouTube. Everything I've seen indicates that having the pump higher than the inlet of the rad would lead to air being trapped in the pump.
This video dives into it a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKwA7ygTJn0&t=637s
I've completely had it with people posting Steve's video about AIO mounting when its clear they didn't even WATCH his video... STOP IT!

@clever tiger I'd watch that and avoid the orientation you're thinking of doing. The one you have is normal/great.
alright, thanks
It's not as big as a deal
This is fine
I use it cuz I don't have room on my case
Do you have evidence or something behind your thinking another than anecdotal evidence?
Just cause you do it doesn't mean it's fine long term
Oh
Nooo
It's worse
Just not as bad
I'm still not convinced lol. The general reason you should avoid it is that having air in the pump will cause additional wear/strain on the pump itself.
But yeah, it's not catastrophic
It's fine tho. Cuz air is in the rad
As long as rad is abovepump it's fine
Take my PC for example
all it does is lower your aio’s lifespan iirc
Im going custom loop so I dont care
you dont even have to care, you literally already have the radiator inlet above the pump
I know
I find it funny no one commented about the aio not having fans
I just assumed it was on the front and was pushing air
speaking of which, why is there just a fan randomly chilling on top of the gpu lol
It's there
