I ended up using a 12th gen pentium gold for 100$ off amazon to update the bios to support 13th gen and returned. Needed a cpu to flash bios since no flashback on this mobo

Justification for the i7 and not an i5 (which i could have gone with) is that im a software developer (CE/EE student) as well so I kinda need the extra threads and power
