Haha Noctua NhD15 (cooler) is huge
I had to remove the GPU during the build and had to remove the fans from the cooler to have enough room to press the PCIE release
I’m a novice but temps seemed reasonable under medium load
Ah, that’s the one thing I was unsure of
I have two PCIE cables yeah but they both have the 2 6 pins on them
So if I use two cables I’ll have one dangling off each cable… is that normal?
Do the dangly bits go on the GPU side or PSU side or does it not matter
Yeah seems like it only fits one way. That’s annoying, since it means I’ll have two 6+2 pins just dangling since my PCIE cables have a split on the 6+2 side (that’s why I’m currently only using 1 in the pic above)
I guess I can tuck the split back under the GPU and zip tie it so it can’t be seen
I wonder if this is why my GPU was slightly underperforming compared to other 3080s on user benchmark
don’t use user benchmark use 3d mark
Awesome thanks for the tips guys, I have no idea what tools I should be using so that all helps a lot
Is 6+2 bad
what kind of motherboard is that?
Case name?
4000D airflow
Sorry, don't pay much attention to discord. It's the MSI Z690A (no wifi)
