ram goes in slots 2 and 4, not 1 and 3
hdd is mounted backwards in case, sata power and data should be facing side panel behind motherboard
ram is fine
i dont care about sata hdd mounting
i got the case used so it's missing the tray
it's literally fine
it works fine
it's on my desl as we speak literally functioning normally
ive had this system built for a week and have had 0 problems thank you very much
cool. do you have a rationale to not put the ram in the recommended slots by the manufacturer other than "i did it wrong and it still works"?
RAM will work in any slot configuration. Unless you have a dead memory channel. However due to the structure of the controllers and how things talk to the CPU, putting the RAM in slots 2 and 4 as recommended by the motherboard manufacturers will increase the speed. It will just work better. It will work as it does now, it will just work better with the RAM in slots 2 and 4 and not 1 and 3. Just how the controllers work. It is something a lot of people don't realize, and may not bother with. But it triggers some because you can get some more preformance out just by switching what slots they are in.
1 and 3 will still do dual channel
The difference is negligible
Unless you can prove otherwise, 1 and 3 are fine
and they are fine, my ram works great
kinda annoyed at how loud the stock cooler is, probably gonna upgrade to a noctua or a be quiet at some point
I’d get neither of those, considering they’re super overpriced and you’re only using a i3 10100
at most youd need a basic 120mm tower cooler
