What is this "new queuing bot" you've been referencing some times?
Would it have a connection to tournament bot?

So here’s a back story. There was a bot we had called “ELO” and it allowed players to “Queue” then once the queue was full, they’d be matched up and they could play. It was pretty wild. There was an ELO aspect using trueskill to assign points and adjust rankings based on the match outcome. This bot was shutdown March 31st 2022 due to the code being, old, and discord API changes. It wasn’t tied to Tourney Bot
There was another bot that was directly tired to Tourney Bot called SkillBot, shutdown the same time, and did a similar thing with assigning points and roles based on match outcome, adjusting your points depending on the skill level etc, but it wasn’t as advanced as ELO.
When the bot was shutdown the community went crazy because it was really critical for their servers. So we integrated the idea of roles and points to the leaderboards feature of Tourney Bot. It satisfied some people but not everyone.
There’s a huge market for this whole queueing idea, so we’re going to fill it and make sure it’s the best product and queuing bot possible. It’ll allow players to flag themselves as I wanna play a match, get paired up and put into games etc etc. ideas like this with ranking adjustments depending on skill level sounds like it’ll fit best. So that’s the queuing bot basically haha. Hope that helps @pale siren
