This is not how a double elimination bracket works. These brackets gives players 2 lives, so if you start them in the losers bracket they will either only get one life or will need to be put into an even lower bracket

I understand how it works traditionally. Several fgc events draft players from pools into both lower and upper bracket round 1.
It is not common, as it's typically only useful when pools or groups have been played prior.

This isn't something that we would be willing to do for our public build, it's far too confusing, breaks the rules of the actual double elim format, and would be very niche
