I have another idea, goes a bit along this one so im not going to make a new thread

Its regarding self-scoring: I had a situation recently in a swiss-tournament, where in one match the players didnt understand the rules quite right and scored the match wrong. Afterwards the bot started the next round because there was no more match to play. I wasnt around at that moment so I didnt notice at first. When I finally did, I had to reopen that match and correct the score, which caused the ongoing round to reset and two opponents to switch which had already played and now had to replay their match.

Long story short:

• It would be awesome, if the bot would ping admin/tournament admin and asked for confirmation of the scores of a finished round in a swiss or group-stage tournament (if my suggestion above would be implemented) before it starts the next round. That way, errors of players during scoring could be fixed before the next round
  And yes, of course you could just turn off player-scoring...but it is such a nice thing, that the players can score themselves, takes a lot of heat of the admins, and this little score-confirmation between rounds would make it fail-proof! 🙂

I completely understand where you’re coming from… but this isn’t likely something we do. Considering we have the player scoring toggle available already and this isn’t a common request, the change wouldn’t have enough reward for the effort we put in. We’ve got to consider new features in regard to the amount of investment required.

Yeah ok, I get it 🙈 maybe keep it in the back of your head and if the time is right, it might come to life 😊
Is my original suggestion more likely to be implemented? 🙊

No worries and yep, the original aligns better as there definitely are issues with this bracket type.
