I understand your concern - just so I understand, are you using the FFA mode and changing the sort format to ascending?

Ah I didn't see the sports mode. Is that what you mean by FFA? We were using "best of 1" and it was still allowing negative numbers.

I can't find a way to change the sort order when using sports mode. Where's that setting

Did you initially create the tournament in sports mode, and then start it, and then change the scoring to bo1 by clicking 📝?

Sorry, this is not the tournament that had the first problem (we since deleted it). I created this one with sports mode from the start.

This one is stock settings, Best of 1. It still accepts the negative numbers

For sure. Where is the "sort format" you referenced earlier? Is there a spot to specify in sports mode that lowest score wins?

I think it's either on the web config or a command that is mentioned in the /config

Here's my recommendation for Golf Tournaments

Set the bracket type to FFA and use Sports Mode
Then ask players to enter their scores. You could either ask them to use negative or positive, it doesn't matter as you can change the sorting method

it is in the config so if you ask players to enter negative scores, you want to keep this on so the lower number (closer to 0) wins

If you run into anything else that's peculiar lmk - we've got quite a big update coming out soon - you can expect the following:

• reopen button -> /reopen command
• kick button -> /kick command
• unkick button -> /unkick command
• swiss tiebreakers to have multiple logics to break the ties
• improving registration and other logic on the backend

buttons being changed to command to make it a LOT more efficient

Awesome. I stopped using the Tourney Bot when you disconnected from Challonge since we had history there, but now I see why and we're back (and premium subscribers now) since you've mostly caught up and surpassed them on functionality. Good work!

The bracket tab shows correct sort order, but the players tab is sorted ascending still. Think they should both be sorted the same way, right?
