I do know that, the thing I’m a fan of automation. I thought it may be an easy addition and done like „/create FIFA;COD;etc.“ so it’s all done and once published the role gets tagged in the message
Also our server has a channel where we only want to have the tournament infos. So absolutely zero addition comment or message from game admins. Just Server owner and myself.

Changing the behavior of /create is not something that we are willing to do because of cost to engineer, the effect it would have on people who wouldn’t understand the feature and technically your suggestion actually doesn’t save a step or automate anything.
It just changes the location that you would enter a role to be pinged. In fact, your suggestion would add an additional step to get the goods.
I’m open to discussion here but this seems like something that doesn’t need to be solved and the juice to squeeze ratio is very low

If it says optional and has a descriptive docstring.. Should be fairly obvious what Mentions the specified role on creation. does.

Changing the /create command to generate a form may be reasonable. But my arguments still stands. Is this a problem that needs to be solved or is it a nice to have for 1 user

the info is imho useful to even less or the same amount of people

Oh I misunderstood that. So, what if you mess up on publishing. Are you going to ping the role every time?

But also when tournament edit form a role to choose(optional) like in max participants field for example 😅
