That being said “easy” mode on funger 1 is still one of the hardest games I’ve ever played

why? because getting hit by 19% hit nukes and missing an 95% hit is NOT fun. no other gba game punishes you so much for nothing—it makes the early game insufferable when the enemies have better stats AND more numbers than you

Not even kidding I was bored during most of the encounters
We love the story and the characters, we all do, but that's the best part
underneath it the gameplay does not hold up
not in the slightest
hence why I never even bothered to finish True Lab
the memoryheads just aren't fun to fight
most of the characters at least have like funny attacks or neat descriptions
but like nah
game aint fun gameplay wise
with the one exception of omega flowey
I love bullet hells
and some of the bosses too those were great
but most of the normal encounters had me yawning
