Axolotls are the best animal because they're in minecraft and in real
And you might say "there's other animals in minecraft and in real, like cows"
But I'd retaliate with "Yes but axolotld are pink"
And then you'd say "pink sheep"
And I'd say "yes but axolotls are cuter than sheep and also they kill guardians"
And then you'd say "Oh, ok, I agree with you"
And then I'd say "cool"

Had to look up what a custard apple is
(no idea how to spell it how we call it here)
describe it
phil collins is a great singer
i have NO Idea how to describe it properly 😭 its mostly sweet with a tangy taste to eat and very easy to peel + seeds are also easy to spit out since the meat is very soft (not completely mush but still chewable-ish????? idk just swallowing it is just fine)
I think I've eaten this before
looks familiar
My parents also called it milk fruit
Because of its taste
its rly good! if you ever get the opportunity to try it go ahead
And texture
mfw searching up milk fruit gives me a fucking different fruit

also, before i go to sleep, accounting is easy. the only hard part about it is adjusting entires
my dyslexic ass could never be an accounter
but once you get past adjusting entries, you got preparing financial statements, statement of financial position, changes in owner's equity, income statement, and cash flows, which are really easy to learn
Self-improvement often includes going to the gym or getting into physical activities, it’s good for you. Actually getting into exercise tends to be much easier said than done, and it can feel difficult to find any enjoyment, as it physically hurts and seems imposing to get into exercising if you aren’t used to it. People who are already enthusiastic about the gym usually have specific goals and built-in enjoyment of seeing their weight numbers increase, but that reasoning serves as a barrier to entry when you're just getting started as progress is slow and difficult or impossible to appreciate for newcomers. For me at least, I’ve always hated team sports like Soccer due to the inconvenience of needing to get a lot of people together to even play, and in general it's easy to feel useless and left behind due to the inherent competition and skill-gap that comes from the huge variance in experience between different people.
Bouldering has a lot of factors that remove these problems, and position it as a fantastic activity for newcomers, while retaining a limitless ceiling of growth and naturally giving meaning to healthy dieting and further physical training if people choose to do more.
Anyone can boulder! I've introduced friends who aren't athletic, scared of heights, and short to climbing. For me at least, I went from having never really played a sport or doing physical activities actively to consistently climbing 2-5 times a week. It made me eager to hit the normal gym, as getting stronger lets me do more fun stuff climbing. Getting muscle is great, and it's been a good way to meet new people, and a fun thing to do with friends both experienced and inexperienced in climbing.
It’s a bit out of the way compared to other forms of exercise, so many people who could have a huge affinity for climbing simply haven’t tried yet. Like anything, some people just won’t like it, but I think a lot of people would love it if they gave it a try, and you might be one of them!
Can I post my essay on why starch lord isnt the most overrated card here
No
The flute is the coolest instrument
For one, it takes a lot of skill to play. All instruments recorder doesn’t count do, but the flute is harder than most. It has the difficult part of woodwind instruments (having to use both hands and all fingers to finger notes) and have the hard part of brass (changing octaves solely with your embochure). Secondly, it has a really good sound. It sounds like nature, jazz, and Christmas all in one instrument! Lastly, it is the most portable instrument. Really small case.
I ❤️ the flute
orange is good i like it
Green is my favourite colour because 3rd grade me decided it is
without orange, orange chicken is just chicken
Cats are arguably better than dogs when stranded in a island
Why?
In general dogs need training, patience, time and a reward. If uou do not have any one of those, the dog is a dead weight and has no value in the long run, in comparison to cats, wich hunts for themselves and may bring you something to eat (since they think that you are a giant cat), and also take care of some animals that you may not like to deal with
-very cute
-If they disappear iam betting that the cat is more likely to survive
-Way smaller, way less food to spend if necessary
Depends honestly
Someone quick give me a scenario
Dogs > Cats.
Keep coping
Someone said Turbo was a fine and balanced card in HU
Color, food, instrument, sport or animal
HU is a sport !! (Has a tourney)
Do you play an instrument?
Piano, learning though
depends on age group tbh
Pillowy really up and said flute sounds like jazz
this is school now at this point... but basically idc what others would think so yeah.... my argument pretty much
It can be in jazz
And it fits well
So
This QOTD is quite a trip so
Its not a question
not a question but it was pretty enjoyable tbh
ok real talk saber fencing is like the most skill based sport
its all a 1v1 so whether or not you win is completely dependent on you and not your teammates
reason a lot of asian kids do it is cause they dont have to be super athletic to be good, obviously being athletic is good but skill > strength unlike a lot of other sports, really is just all about mindgames and stuff so yeah all other sports suck and saber is good
eh combat has opponent rng
Climbing is everything you just said but better and no opponent rng
qed
also the reason a lot of Asian kids do it is probably closely tied to barrier to entry type sports
Asian kids probably are disproportionately from either better off families financially and definitely have families that are much more willing to grind out college app stuff in a super deliberate manner so it's a combo of being less pure strength focused and more about there being less competition. similar to lacrosse being a rich(er) kid sport. Even finance aside, it's a lot more niche, so I'd bet there's a ton of selection bias from that factor alone
But yeah a smaller pool means it's easier to be best in state or nation and that's useful when stuff like soccer or basketball has all sorts of people grinding it out
i usually hate eating mushrooms but enoki soup hotpot my beloved
Blue is one of the colour of all times
Same as how Oxygen is one of the molecules that keep you alive of all times
Its the best colour
Most overrated color
so true
Sure its overrated its still the best color
purple is the most polyvalent color
a clean, formal suit? purple. rotting, poisonous trash? purple. all-encompasing evil? purple. simply a cozy sweater? purple.
purple is such a good color
Cap
It’s mid
Orange and lime solo blue
So do purple and yellow
Blue is nothing without color palettes
tfw icy didn't even try to disagree with my rebuttal on fencing
sorry homie i've been a bit too busy for a big essay response until now
just got back from a fencing tournament
respect
it's not like I expected an essay response but you responded to a bunch of other stuff and didn't even acknowledge it so I just assumed you had nothing to say or whatever
just to be clear I think fencing is a crazy cool and unique sport just like how bouldering is just different from the most common stuff like soccer regardless of message on it
the asian kid stuff i agree with yeah it's pretty much most of the reason
having an opponent i'd say makes it more skillful though
opponents have really varying playstyles so adaptation during the bout is huge, you need to be able to analyze your opponent well
also opponent rng doesn't really exist much the most there is to it is rng when taking a parry which on average is pretty consistent and is an rng that you can make in your favor with skill
the playstyles and ways to adapt to your opponent are way more complex than any other sport i'd think
i don't know what bouldering is lol
i'll look it up
but imo 1v1 sports have a whole extra layer of skill compared to solo sports like climbing
oh it's just rock climbing lol
opponent rng = just you can't really pick a skill level of an opponent so I feel like the repeatability of a given fight is technically 0, where in rock climbing you can practice a route and redo stuff, analyze, etc.
The "extra" layer of having an opponent is at best equivalent to being able to just pick a harder rock climbing route and otherwise worse since like I've said, no fight is the same.
Solo sports normally have the issue of lacking variety, but especially in rock climbing your options are literally infinite because you can make up your own routes with existing holds, and most gyms change out regularly so there's always new stuff to do.
The other thing is that more layers of skill doesn't make a task of any type take more skill, if anything I think it's way more beautiful to perfect a few really key skills, and it's even better since bouldering perfects skills and strengths that are pretty useful and very fun to have even outside of practicing the sport
there are all sorts of different route styles.
upside down, big holds, small holds, compression or extension moves, dynamic jumpy moves vs static and controlled moves, and moves that test balance vs strength, and ways to emphasize all sorts of different muscles.
You can climb random boulders or even urban structures if you want to. climbing is infinite
Furthermore, it's super scaleable, you can climb whenever you want for as long or as short as you want. It's much more difficult to practice for sports that aren't solo, especially against your alleged "variety of opponents".
People have home climbing walls, pull up bars, and there's compact boards that simulate all sorts of holds in a space the size smaller than a welcome mat
I think that addresses everything
