Is anyone coming across this annoying bug in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, where before an online battle starts, the screen will stay black without you being able to see anything as everyone else gets to play? It's actually getting on my nerves, you'll still be able to activate your Abilities while the screen is still black (the emotes don't work, though), and if you exit out of the game and return to it to get it to work whilst it was a ranked match beforehand, you'll keep losing ranked points for everytime you do this as a result of this detrimental black screen bug. It's really negatively affecting my enjoyment of the game.

So some advice regarding spending and shit

if you want to pay, buy the season pass, the booster pass only speeds you up, you will get the season pass done within a week or so with booster. But if you are starting like rn there's no need for that

season last an entire month

playing normally and you should probably get there before it ends

I also find that bravery works a bit weird

You get more from defeating rival players

Another thing, burst mode doesn't make you invincible, you can get blown up into pieces while you're attacking the boss

It’s a gacha so take that as you will. It relies on rng and such to get characters and abilities

The gameplay is about what you’d expect from an arena fighter on mobile though, it plays like other Dissidia (kinda see parallels to duodecim tbh) if you use a controller, but even playing on the touch screen is fine, you can adjust it to either tap or swipe abilities

But it’s still a 3v3 arena fighter with rng and pay related elements so really it’s just whatever you’re looking for.

gameplay wise it's nothing to write home about, the game is designed in completely different way compares to arena fighter and moba, it's more of a hybrid of both

So how tf is score calculated in duellem bruh

Ill have games where ill feel like i did great, got a bunch of kills, did decent boss damage and shit and i'll end up with like 3k points

And then ill have whatever games with 6k

Also in one of my first games when i was still in bot territory i managed to get like 12k

I have yet to see any score above 9k yet in an actual game so i have no idea what i possibly did

I think the score is calculated based on how many bravery gain and damage is related to you

So if you kinda just roam and not farming or fighting ppl your efficiency will be really low hence low score

I had a few round where I play pure support and definitely being useful but it only gave me 2000 or lower and the impression I got is that I didn't really used my time well

If your are constantly doing stuffs, not dying

Farming bravery and kill ppls

You should have higher score

Also if you are willing to farm rank you will definitely get higher in rank

I think most ppl on the top 100 are F2P or at least just paid for the premium passes

They are sitting at a round 9800 power level

Only very few go past 10k

So it's definitely grinding that matters

Not that I didn't kill Leviathan with Firion OR Ifrit with Onion Knight, but it feels like they really want you to use mage characters...

So just some more info and tips of Duellum:

1. Boss will chase whoever burst last, so if you see that all your enemies have already burst and the rest are not at 9999, you can burst to aggro the boss and have it move away from them so their attacks miss or force them to move around during burst.

2. Burst players are really fragile when moving around because preferably they want to at least use their damage abilities around the boss, so when boss is moving away they are easy target to kill. Unless they decide to give up their burst and fight back.

3. Most of the players will use their biggest attack during burst and these attacks usually has insanely long iframe but it doesn't covers the whole animation all the time, so do try to stay around and kill them. If you managed to get one before their burst drops you get 9999 immediately.

Your supporters will probably bring heal so as long as you've been dodging stuffs you should be fine

No confirmation, nor info. We weren’t even made aware it was region specific until the games pre downloaded a couple days before launch

Unfortunately they don’t make this info known or public, but usually it’ll coincide with region gambling and gacha laws (it’s not available in parts of the UK because of those laws for example)

but general the flow of the game is deeper than it look (not by a whole lot tho)

outside of the game's basic of farm bravery and slam dunk it on boss, if you get into the game's flow everything begin to have purpose

You need to first understand the purpose of burst and 9999

1.Boss's aggro order is whomever bursted the last > burst > the highest bravery. They will move towrards your location if you burst.
2.It's best to keep the boss close to your spawn, due to the fact that: Farming crystal is really freaking slow compare to PVP, but also it's usually a long walk from their spawn to yours, the point is just so that it makes your opponents waste their time on walking aorund without generating any bravery. If they decided to PVP in your spawn, it takes literal 3 secs for you to respawn back to full health so even if they did killed your teammates theres a high chance that they got killed again and drop their bravery back to your teammates.

So Zidane's whole mechanic is build upon this meta, cause you are supposed to dive in, steal bravery from the highest bravery enemy and prevent them from bursting, on top of that it will be better if you have the ability to transfer your bravery to your teammates.

personally i just activate trance, run to enemy, steal their bravery, burst boss, take a fight die or win (if win burst again) rinse and repeat
