So odd one here, I was able to succesfully install and use Pokereader to get my first RNG manip shiny (treecko) in Omega Ruby. However now the program launches but i can register any inputs in the Pokereader menu, and no restarts of either my game or my system seem to be able to fix it. I even made a folder in my plugins folder named after the Omega Ruby title id and that didnt even work. Just looking to continue my RNG journey and hope someone here knows whats going on.

Did you press X+Y at any point? That locks the overlay so you can’t interact with it.

Nope, when I boot the game, it states at the top the menu "Lock X+Y" not "Unlock with X+Y", hence why I'm confused. I have got it to slightly boot once or twice but will either freeze when I lock it with X+Y, or not come back if I press Up+Start to hide it, and then press Up+Start to bring it back

Just did 5 resets of my system and results are inconclusive, I had one startup that was working and then it stopped. I did forget to mention that I am not running Base omega ruby, but a patch called Omega Ruby Repolished, however I doubt that's the issue

That is 100% the issue my brother
PokeReader is only configured to work for specific title IDs because of how it reads the memory. If you’re playing a romhack it’s not guaranteed to work even if it’s based on a compatible rom.
