I'm playing HGSS on MelonDS (because it's better on it) and when I have to do some RNG Manipulation I use DesMuMe but I don't why I can't import my save on it even if I turn my save file in .dsv if anyone have some clues about it ?

youre not really supposed to use .dsv's as savefiles
instead open the rom of the game you wanna transfer the savefile on in desmume, go to file, export backup memory and then you get a proper .sav out of it.
And for importing savefiles from e.g. melonds you do the same but choose the import backup memory option instead of export

I don't get it so if I want to import a save in DesMuMe I have to go to "Export Backup Memory" and not "Import Backup Memory" ?
