I'm having an issue hitting my seed on retail HG. I'm using a DS lite and the most recent build of PokeFinder (4.2.1). As far as I know, my setup is correct (see screenshots), but when I verify my seed via Irwin calls I am getting wildly different results (off by 1 or 2 seconds, more than 300 delay difference, etc) and the seed indicated by the calls does not have matching roamers. Does anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

I'm hitting Sweet Scent as soon as I load in and then calling Irwin to verify which seed I hit after

i just did another trial and even at +/- 500 i didn't get a result for irwin calls
as in the first 8 responses or so led to 0 results
i kept going and input the new values and got this
but my Raikou is on 34 and Entei 44

date is set to 02/23/2000 and i'm setting the clock to 12:47 as eontimer says 0 minutes before target
what did you want to see on the DS specifically?

i don't see anything off. there could be something going on with the ds itself that is causing this, from what I'm reading online it seems like I could just calibrate the target seconds to account for my seconds being off
i.e. the delay that I landed on was very close but the seconds were 2 early, so I set my target seconds to 51 instead of 49
and run it again

i actually did a static manip on this cart succesfully as well as TID abuse using the same ds

You can not be sure if something matches and the other says something different
Try another delay or target
Double check your roamers position before saving and turning off

No need. Just save check your current roamers position and change your stuff on pokefinder
And move to the date and time and try again the rng
