Shiny Jirachi Wishmkr mGBA rng manip help.

I'm currently trying to learn how to RNG manip shiny Jirachi Wishmkr and I have a few questions.

1. Step 2: Find Target
   On 3. update target Sixtieth Second, on the Website it shows only the Seed, Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Frames, Shiny and stats, what do I put on the 60th second.

2. How to use the RS checksums in general.

I'm be doing the skip dolphin patch (if it's doable).

Correct me if I'm wrong.

My Seed is 7236, Hrs 1, Minutes 33, seconds 34, frames 31

On Lua Script I've already edited my Target seed, Target Saver Hour, Target minute, Target second and target Siextieth second.

Step 3, on mGBA game overrides real time lock is unchecked, and on my ruby save it says battery is dried.

I load the game and then lua script.

My Target Base save time is 1:33:33:52.

I stopwd at There js already a save file and manually advance frame till 1:33:33:52.

After Pressing A to save.

My Segment 0 checksum seed is 2589, may target checksum seed is 1C44.

I've retried and saved again, my Segment 0 checksum seed doesn't maych Target checksum seed, tried it 2 to 3 times already.

I retried step 2 and step 3 again.

My target checksum seed is 1C44 but segment 0 checksum seed is 7236 it matches the seed I want.

On your guide, both should match.

Seed 7360 is 25hrs 59min 25.059 seconds away, is there away to speed up the time or I can only wait. thanks

Does my PID/SID affects which 9 of the possible shiny Jirachi I can hunt?

base on the searcher I have 3 shiny Jirachi(s), seed 7236, 7360 and 9359

I've inputted the IVs and hit generate and set search hours to 999, no-other result appear.

Does this mean I need to make another PID/SID combo to get the other shiny jirachi, like seed 353d 24/03/30/12/16/11

For all IVs 25+ non-shiny
seed d517 31/29/30/31/30/31

also doesn't appear when I search it.

0x1c44 (hex) is 7236 (decimal), so you probably have 7236 in the lua script instead of 0x7236.

You can speed up the emulator to speed up time.

No, your TID/SID do not affect the Jirachi's shininess. The Jirachi has a hardcoded TID/SID, so everyone has the same shinies.

The checksum adds all the data in one part of your save file into a single number. As time passes in your save, that number changes because you're adding different numbers.

If you aren't finding a specific result, it's because increasing only the time doesn't produce a specific checksum.

Other things like player money and badge count will also affect the checksum. You'll find different results if you play the game some more.

Yes on the seed part on the Lua Script, do I need to convert it to hex?

the other 2 shiny jirachi is 18hrs and 25hrs respectively so I need to fastforward my time to 18hrs (playtime) before receiving the Jirachi on my backup save file (If I understand correctly).

I'm in Odale town and have 1hr 50+ mins playtime, I need to play to get the other Jirachi spreads?

I did manage to get the seed 7236, the next shiny is seed 9359 which is 18hrs away. I need to change 9359 (decimal) to hex and input it in lua, then fastforward the time.

I don't need to save since it will change my seed but I can make a save state since 18hrs is really long. (correct me if I'm wrong). Thanks.

It's just for display and doesn't affec the RNG, but if you want it to display correctly then you would need to convert it to hex. For example, if 7236 s the seed you want, just put 0x in front of it: 0x7236.

Speeding up an emulator makes the in-game play time go faster too since that's part of the emulation.

Saving is fine - it won't affect future seeds.

I mean if my target seed is 9359 which is 18hrs away, I just let my emulator fastforward till 18hrs then save. Then follow step 3.

Hi Zak, I'm trying to search for bad IVs highest 0 count for non-shiny and the 31/29/30/31/30/31 but keep getting Unknown Error for the website.

Can you screenshot the settings you're using?

I know at least one way that error can come up, but want to confirm with your settings.

Hi Zak, I haven't encountered the error again, I've already hit almost all of the seed, just 1 seed left (seed 1DEA), and I've completed the Jirachi spread on the website. Thanks for your help.
